The Position

We’re looking for a Mid-level or Senior Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration and has experience tackling a wide range of design projects, quickly adapting as the need changes from branding and marketing collateral to things like websites and digital marketing campaigns. Our candidates will be excited to engage with our clients and will demonstrate their expertise by developing (and speaking to) original design concepts. They’ll be expected to help refine ideas that come from clients and colleagues and will readily provide the constructive criticism and critique needed to improve the team’s output as a whole.

We want a person who has mastered all major design programs, has an innate design ability and sense of aesthetic, and maintains a passion for not only making beautiful things but doing work that is grounded in function and purpose.

This position will require working with a team as well as independently and will expect comfort in both leading projects and being lead. Ongoing research of new design trends and consistently delivering quality visuals that support our clients’ business objectives will be crucial. Our designers also actively support our own branding and marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can multitask with energy, passion, and knowledge of the latest tools and industry best practices. The person who fills this role will keep cool under pressure and show aptitude juggling multiple deadlines at a time. They will provide several creative solutions to the complex business problem at hand and will partner closely with other designers, project managers, content developers, and outside vendors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to and often lead team brainstorms for new projects
  • Present design concepts both internally and to client stakeholders
  • Oversee quality control and communicate with outside vendors (printers, videographers, photographers, etc) who may be involved in development and production
  • Coordinate with project managers to streamline communication between teams
  • Work on several projects at once, sometimes under the pressure of very tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal design team, clients and external vendors
  • Independent research on clients, relevant industries and competitors to inform proposed design solutions
  • Branding responsibilities will include concepts, logo creation, building image and graphic libraries, visual styleguides and brand guidelines
  • Other responsibilities will include working on content-heavy collateral such as Brochures and eBooks, PPT/Keynote Design, Responsive Web/UI Design, Event Design, Environment Design, Digital Ad Production, and Art directing photoshoots to align with project goals and concept (studio and environmental photography skills a plus)
  • Manage company identity including website, award submissions and ongoing branding initiatives
  • Color management and file set up for pre-press and web production
  • Mentor junior designers and interns and assist with onboarding and training as team continues to grow
  • Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-7 years professional experience as a designer (agency experience a plus); this is not an entry-level position
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Online Portfolio link, Resume, and Cover letter (applications submitted without work samples will not be considered)
  • The ability to work on accelerated deadlines without sacrificing quality or consistency
  • Experience receiving feedback and proposing revised solutions that meet the objective and retain the integrity of the idea
  • Knowledge of designing for the web (responsive and UI/UX experience a plus)
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign at a minimum)
  • Knowledge of Office and G Suite tools
  • Knowledge of environmental design, motion and video graphics a plus

The Position

We’re looking for a writer with a marketing mindset, passion for well-chosen words, and an artistic sensibility to join our creative team. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration and has experience tackling a wide range of content, quickly adapting as the need changes from social media and marketing campaigns to things like websites and pitch decks. Our candidates will be excited to engage with our clients and provide the thoughtful recommendations necessary to transform their copy from good to great.

You should be a storyteller that loves to make a complicated narrative seem simple and believes big ideas are best when clear and concise. We want a person who has mastered the written word, but has a sense of aesthetic that’s crucial in applying it to design. You should think creatively and deliver the thoughtful concepts and strategy that define success in capturing an audience.

This position will require ongoing research of new content marketing trends, and the ability to consistently produce materials that support our clients as well as our own branding and marketing efforts.

It will involve a combination of writing, editing, and proofing content across various materials – including: social media, direct mail, e-books, landing pages/websites, display ads, blogs, and emails.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write and edit engaging content for a wide range of materials, including: social media, web pages, marketing campaigns and collateral, blogs, presentations, and more
  • Understand and interpret content into conceptual writing that meets detailed business objectives
  • Help plan and execute short and long-term strategy for our social media marketing, overseeing online reputation management, as well as contributing to daily content curation across channels
  • Show aptitude in varying your writing style, voice and tone to suit the client’s audience, project goals, and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with our project managers, design team, clients and external vendors
  • Help refine the voice and tone of our company brand
  • Research products, companies, and topics as needed to deliver unique and accurate insights that span industries

The Position

We’re looking for a Design Intern to join our creative team. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration, is eager to learn from our team, and is interested in tackling a wide range of design projects. Our candidates will be excited to engage and will demonstrate their passion for design by diving right in and being receptive to direction and feedback.

We want a person who has experience in the major design programs (Adobe Creative Suite), has an innate sense of aesthetic, and is interested in working towards a design-related career.

The intern can expect to be trained, mentored, and exposed to “agency life”.  There will be an expectation that the intern will also be able to contribute to our projects, both internal and client-facing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help produce digital and print materials for our clients and our agency
  • Work closely with the creative director, project managers, and design team, to concept and complete assigned projects
  • Work both individually and in a team environment with given project goals and creative guidelines
  • Produce quality work under tight deadlines
  • Effectively communicate design rationale to the internal creative team
  • Keep up-to-date technically and on the design industry to apply new knowledge to your job
  • Work within briefing, brand guidelines and other client requirements
  • Keep files and assets organized and follow protocol as far as naming conventions, folder structure, and dropbox backups
  • Other duties may be assigned
